Frequently Asked Questions
Please reach out if you cannot find an answer to your question.
We understand that every business is different, so our pricing reflects your specific needs rather than a one-size-fits-all package.
Here’s how it works:
-
Tailored service selection
We start with a detailed discussion to understand your business and agree which services you’ll need over the next 12 months. This can be adjusted as your business evolves. -
Agreed monthly fee
Once services are agreed, we provide a clear fee proposal with the cost spread evenly over 12 months, helping you budget with confidence. -
Monthly billing
Fees are billed monthly in line with our standard payment terms and collected by Direct Debit for convenience. -
Annual review
We review your services and fees annually to ensure they still align with your needs. Any additional or one-off work during the year is agreed in advance and added to your proposal.
Our fees are based on factors such as the level of support required, the frequency of work, and the volume of transactions where relevant.
We don’t bill per call or email. Reasonable communication is included as part of our service, with fair usage applying to ensure support remains sustainable for everyone.
If you join us partway through your financial year, a catch-up fee will apply for the period before we became your accountant.
For example, if you join in November 2025 and want us to prepare accounts to March 2026, the catch-up period would cover the eight months from April to November.
You can choose to:
-
Spread the catch-up fee across your monthly payments until the year-end, or
-
Pay the catch-up fee as a one-off amount, followed by a fixed monthly fee going forward.
We’ll explain the options clearly so you can choose what works best for your cashflow.
We keep communication clear, flexible, and straightforward.
You can contact us by email, WhatsApp, book virtual meetings, or schedule calls at a time that suits you using our online diary. In-person meetings can also be arranged where appropriate.
Our aim is to be accessible and responsive, while keeping communication structured so you always know what support is available.
Yes – we work with both sole traders and limited companies.
We’ll make sure the support and advice you receive is appropriate for your business structure and stage of growth.
Working with us means more than just meeting deadlines.
We focus on clear explanations, forward planning, and helping you understand what your numbers are telling you, so you can make informed decisions with confidence.
You’ll know where you stand, what’s coming next, and what options are available – without jargon or unnecessary complexity.
This depends on the level of service you choose and what your business needs.
Some clients prefer regular check-ins, while others get in touch as and when needed. We’ll agree expectations upfront so you know what support is included and how best to reach us.
Not at all.
All we need is the contact email address of your current or previous accountant. We’ll handle the professional clearance and information transfer, making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Yes – this is one of the most important parts of how we work.
We don’t just prepare accounts; we help you understand what the figures mean, how they affect your decisions, and how to use them to plan ahead.
Our goal is for you to feel confident and informed, not overwhelmed or unsure.
Our standard opening hours are 10am to 4pm.
We understand these times may not suit everyone, so we’re happy to be flexible where possible by prior arrangement.
